Sizing at home
Wrap a strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length in millimetres. Divide by 3.14 for the inner diameter. Then: 18.1 mm is US 8, 19.0 mm is US 9, 19.8 mm is US 10, 20.6 mm is US 11, 21.4 mm is US 12. Measure at the end of the day when fingers are largest, and if you are between sizes on a wide band, size up; wide bands fit tighter than thin ones.
