Fashion Editor Intern

The ideal candidate should have great knowledge of handbags and always be enthusiastic about latest trend and styles.

RESPONSIBILITIES
– Monitor and react to industry trends on handbags and other categories , utilize fashion insight to support website content strategy and plans
– Help to curate products from global vendors, copy write and manage product listing on Fitiny.com site , create, edit and publish product review and styling recommendation
– Assist marketing team to develop promotion campaigns, and manage social media accounts like Facebook and Instagram, write up all the promotional contents.
– Hosting handbag lovers meetup events, coordinating PR projects.

Basic Qualifications
– Fashion forward sensibility and ability to identify and capitalize on current trends
– Able to articulate fashion and styling in words and visual
– Familiar with Facebook and Instagram promotion- Relevant experience in retail and/or e-­‐commerce site editing or content management
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
– Familiar with Photoshop
– Like photographing or modeling
– Technical aptitude with web-­‐based tools and proficiency of the Microsoft Office Suite
– BA/BS in art or design preferred

Responsibilities:
– UX/UI design of our e-commerce website and mobile app
– Creating sketches, user flows, wireframes, and final visual design deliverables.
– Collaborating with engineering and marketing team to ensure designs are executed effectively.

Requirements:
– Great fashion taste and passion are needed!
– Ability to create stylish, visually consistent, customer centered designs
– Adobe Creative Suite like photoshop, illustrator, etc.
– HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery understanding is a bonus.

Responsibilities:
– Lead the entire development (front-end & backend) and maintenance of our current WordPress/Woocommerce website and mobile app
– Create the next node.js e-commerce platform from the ground up.
– Work collaboratively with engineering, design and marketing team.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field.
– Experience with JavaScript, PHP, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL, and AJAX.
– Experience with with MySQL or related relational database systems.
– Passionate about the design, implementation and maintenance of web/app systems.
– WordPress experience is a plus.
– Amazon cloud experience is a plus.

We’re looking for a talented and passionate User Experience Designer to play a vital role in shaping the products and services for Fitiny. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for understanding the needs of our users and defining the end-to-end product design (user flows through to detailed user states) for key features and experiences across our evolving footprint of web and apps. You must be a critical, inventive thinker with a clear sense of user-centered design process, an excitement for understanding and using data, and an ability to communicate your ideas effectively. Being a big shopping fan or an aspiring entrepreneur would be a big plus.

Desired Skills And Experience

  • Design web and mobile product experiences, from ideation to execution
  • Be a major factor in representing the face of high quality design practices. This includes participation in all aspects of UX: research, ideation, strategy, interaction design, and visual design
  • Be a subject matter expert in the area of UX/UI design on Web, iOS, Android
  • Stay up-to-date on current trends in design for web and mobile
